Mild-mannered Pete reunites with his old college chums for his birthday weekend in a swanky country manor. Though his days as “Skippy, Captain of the Party” are behind him, Pete prepares for some good old-fashioned ribbing and heavy intoxication with the raucous mob.
When his old mates bring back local joker, Harry, to join in the festivities, Pete’s paranoia sets in as the birthday bash to end all bashes spirals out of control.
This eye-wateringly hilarious, awkward exploration of social anxiety is brought to cringe-inducing life thanks to a stellar script and go-for-broke performances from its cast, including writer and star, Tom Stourton.
“...a ferociously witty, deeply British evisceration of upper-class Millennial anxiety, dedicated to the truism that if you can’t spot the asshole in any group of five or more people, the asshole is you.” – Variety
